Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal data when you use viewstay.co, contact us online, or authorise us to connect to your social media and advertising accounts so that we can manage digital marketing on your behalf. We operate under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

When you submit the contact form on our website we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Your hotel or business name
• Enquiry type and the message you write

We also record your IP address, browser user agent, language and the page the form was submitted from, in order to prevent spam and to investigate problems.

1.2 Data from social media and advertising platforms

If you are a client for whom we manage digital marketing and you authorise our system to connect to your accounts, we access data from platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business), TikTok and other advertising platforms — only to the extent necessary and only within the permissions you grant:

• Page and business account details such as page name, page ID, profile image and the permissions granted
• Post content, publishing schedules, comments and engagement metrics
• Ad account details, campaigns, budgets, results and performance reports
• Messages sent to your page inbox, only where you have asked us to respond on your behalf
• Access tokens issued by the platform, which we store encrypted

We do not use this data for any purpose other than providing services to you. We never sell it and never use one client's data for another client.

1.3 Cookies and analytics

The website may use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand where visitors come from and which ads work. These cookies only operate when we have enabled those tools. You may disable cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.

2. How We Use the Data

3. Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We disclose it only as necessary to:

• Platform providers — Meta, TikTok and Google, when publishing posts or managing advertising on your behalf
• Infrastructure providers — the server and email providers we use to operate the service
• Government authorities — where required by law

Sending data to overseas platforms (such as Meta, Google and TikTok) constitutes a cross-border transfer and is additionally governed by those providers' own privacy policies.

4. Retention

• Contact form submissions: kept for no more than 2 years after the last contact
• Contracted client data: kept for the term of the contract plus 5 years to meet limitation periods and accounting law
• Social account access tokens: deleted immediately when you disconnect or the contract ends
• Anonymised statistics: may be kept indefinitely as individuals can no longer be identified

5. Your Rights

Under the PDPA you may request access, a copy, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

6. Security

Our website and systems are served entirely over HTTPS. Credentials for external accounts are stored encrypted and access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a high-risk data breach we will notify affected people and the regulator as required by law.

7. Minors

Our services are intended for business operators. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 20 years of age. If data is provided by a minor without guardian consent, we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will notify contracted clients by email in advance.
